A 15 amp cable provides a huge power boost when compared to the 10 amp power cable that comes as standard with the G40 and G70, meaning shorter heating times and a more vigorous boil.
Please note, as 10 amp is the standard domestic amperage in New Zealand, the 15 amp cable requires additional outlet and may require work done on the powerboard.
15 amp sockets have a larger earth pin (see pictures) to that of 10 amp sockets.
